Every singer who has sung with you is on your roster, walk-ins included. The roster belongs to you, it is shared across all of your rigs, and it never crosses to another host.
What the plugin remembers about a regular, and what the roster keeps in step across your rigs.
What it remembers
For each singer: the songs they have sung with you, how many times, when they last sang each one, and the key they sing it in. That is what makes a regular walking in a two second job instead of a conversation.
Across your rigs
Sing on the main rig on Friday and the backup laptop on Saturday, and it is the same singer with one history. The plugin syncs the roster up and pulls the merged version back down, so whichever machine you open is current.
When two records look like the same person
Sometimes the merge cannot be sure: the same name with a genuinely different history, or a name that has been linked to two different accounts. Rather than guessing, we file it as a conflict for you to settle in the dashboard, and the plugin can ask you live at the rig. You can merge them, keep them separate, or treat the new one as a different person with a new name.
Singers with accounts
A singer with a free FireballKaraoke account can be linked to their roster entry, which is what lets them see their own history and keys on their phone. Linked singers carry a small badge in the plugin so you know who is who. They still show up in your roster exactly like everyone else.
Notes
You can leave yourself a note on any singer in the dashboard. It is yours: singers never see it.
