Run the show from your phone

The host remote gives you the rotation, the approval dock, and the party controls anywhere in the room.

The host remote is your rig on your phone. Log in to FireballKaraoke.com from any browser and you have the rotation, the approval queue, and the controls that matter while you are away from the laptop.

The host remote on a phone: the current performer with a countdown, the rotation below, and tabs across the bottom for the approval dock and party controls. Everything you would lean over the laptop for, from the far end of the bar.

What it can do

Approve, decline, and edit incoming requests. Reorder the rotation. Handle a claim, a name change, or someone leaving. Freeze requests when the queue is getting away from you. Reach the party controls and the background music without walking back.

It needs the rig

Every button is a command sent down to your rig, not a change made on a website. That is the design: the rig runs the show, and the remote asks it to do things. If the rig is offline the remote says so and refuses the command rather than pretending it worked. See my rig shows as offline.

More than one rig

If you have several rigs paired, the remote picks the live one and gives you a switcher for the rest. A backup laptop and a main rig can both stay paired all year.

It is live

Changes appear as they happen, without pulling to refresh. Approve a song on the phone and the plugin has it immediately; drag a singer up the rotation at the laptop and the phone catches up.

Keep it to yourself

Anyone logged into your account holds your show. Treat the login the way you would treat the laptop.
